Shanghai Jazz will be celebrating the third anniversary of its Tuesday night trio series this month, and I'm honored to be the bandleader for one of these three very special nights. Rich Court will start things off at 5:30 with a solo piano set, then we'll take the stage at 6:30. It's going to be a memorable occasion; I hope you can come on by and celebrate with us!

Now this will be a truly special event! The legendary Bernard Purdie has moved back to the area, and this will be one of his rare performances in Central/North Jersey. Our last gig with him was at the Newport Jazz Festival, where he headlined a great set.
The Fusion Cafe is a beautiful venue with a warm and welcoming vibe, set in the lower level of The Church of the Nazarene. Admission is $15.00, which is a bargain for an artist of this level, and there will be food available for a very reasonable price. I hope you can come by and see a true master and his great band at work.
One of my favorite gigs! Playing an old fashioned swing dance in a beautiful old building with such a great band? What's not to love? There's a dance lesson at 7PM, then we hit it at 8. Put on your dancing shoes and sashay on over!
